Auditions

Are you a skilled chorister looking for an opportunity to use your musical gifts in ministry? Frontline Voices is looking for experienced choral singers that are confident in their singing ability, competent in music reading, and have an interest in both traditional and contemporary Christian church music.

Auditions for the 2018-2019 season will be held this summer. If you would like to schedule an audition, or if you have any questions, please send a message to eldonmcbride@gmail.com and we will be happy to discuss the details.

Frontline Voices rehearses on Tuesday evenings from 7:15-9:15 PM at Cloverdale United Church, located at 17575 58A Avenue in Surrey (Cloverdale). We generally perform two Saturday evening concerts per season, with dress rehearsals on the Friday evenings prior. If selected, we will provide a copy of our calendar for the upcoming season at your audition. You should be prepared to:

  1. Sing one verse of ‘O Canada’ and ‘Silent Night’. An accompanist will be provided. We will be listening to your tone, vocal range and tuning ability.
  2. Sing a few sight-reading excerpts.
  3. Discuss your musical and church ministry background.

NOTE: The annual membership fee for choir members is $300.  The total amount is due in September, or it can be divided into two payments - one in September and the other in January.
