Mercy at the Cross Concert: Community Feedback

We received a glowing letter from an audience member at our Easter Concert, Mercy at the Cross, and we wanted to share it with you!

Hi Eldon,
What a terrific evening at Pattison auditorium Saturday evening.  Superb in every way.  It is difficult to find the right adjectives, descriptors to apply for the emotional and spiritual tone and effects of the music you brought.

Great selection of Easter-themed songs, with some more familiar, some not heard before.  Your click-click-click moves from one song to the next, and using different members of the vocal group to participate in oral readings and solo numbers was refreshing too.

The use of the nine-plus (two pipes) orchestral instruments is particularly strong attraction for me.  I could name several pieces that particularly resonated, but when you had the strings start, then added the electric/drums to it, that was so moving for me.  LOVED THE WHOLE CONCERT.

As my fiance and I left, we together noted we can hardly wait for the Christmas event.  God willing, we will be front-lined for tickets when promotions begin.

The venue too is so very appropriate, with superb acoustics for that kind of concert.  May you continue to be blessed, even as you and your troupe bless us who listen attentively with our hearts rejoicing in the composition you select for us.
